Intern Adventures : Saying Good-Bye

Hey everyone! Time has flown by here at The Byne Group. We have had such a wonderful experience as interns. Our most recent projects have been working on social media strategies and coming up with logos and ideas for a brand new frozen yogurt company!

Not only has it been fun and enjoyable, but we have learned so much from working with clients to understanding how to think and work in the world of advertising and marketing. We will take this interning experience and apply everything we have learned to our studies at Syracuse. We want to thank everyone at the Byne Group and we hope everyone has a great fall!

Thank you again, Byne Group!

XOXO,

Intern Adventures : Making Bracelets for Choice Trust

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great 4th of July weekend! We are keeping busy at The Byne Group. Our newest monthly promotion called Borrow Our Interns has been really fun to work on. Creating different layouts and coming up with ways to get people to “like” The Byne Group’s Facebook page has been a great learning experience.

braceletsAdditionally, we brainstormed different ways to promote different client’s fundraising events. Last week, we went to United Hospice of Rockland to help make bracelets for Choice Trust. Members of United Hospice of Rockland are traveling to T’zaneen South Africa in August to work side by side with Choice Trust’s health workers. The beaded bracelets will be sold to raise money for their organization. These bracelets are beautiful! If you are interested in purchasing one, please contact Mimi Hoffman [mhoffman@hospiceofrockland.org]!

Each week we continue to learn new skills related to design and marketing that show us what the world of advertising is all about.

We better get back to work!

Meet the Interns

the byne group internsHey everyone! This is Rebecca and Pearl, The Byne Group’s newest summer 2012 interns! We are beyond excited to work with such a fabulous and creative group of people. We have been here for two weeks and have already worked and concepted on real projects for clients. The Byne Group has been more than welcoming and has so much to offer. Let us tell you about ourselves so you can get to know us better!

Hey everyone, my name is Pearl Berkowitz and I am from Suffern, NY. I’m the marketing intern here this summer and am excited for this amazing learning opportunity. I attend Syracuse University, where I am studying both marketing and communication and rhetorical studies. My hobbies include running, hanging out with friends, and playing with my 140-pound dog named Atticus.

Hi everyone, my name is Rebecca Mass and I am the design intern this summer. I live in Ramsey, NJ, and I hope to create print ads and web designs for various clients. I am studying communication design at Syracuse University. In addition to being creative, I enjoy going to the beach, cooking and baking vegan foods, and cuddling with my three dogs Lilly, Nikki, and Daizee.

Currently, we are working on local events to raise money for charities, social media projects for Facebook and Twitter, and design projects for various clients. From the first day on, we have been involved and have experienced what the “real world” of advertising is all about.

Until next time!

xoxo, P & R

Good Campaigns Make You Think, But Great Campaigns Make You Feel

I had the privilege of attending the Thinking Creatively conference at Kean University with our amazing design team last Friday. It was a great experience, and no, it wasn't because I had a day away from the office.

It was because it was a day for us to learn from all the great speakers how to do what we do, but even better. With the deadlines and responsibilities on our plates each day, it would be far easier to say we don't have the time to take an entire day to stop everything we're doing and go to a conference on thinking creatively. But that's one of the qualities...
